Inquest Index is a free, independent service that aggregates publicly available inquest schedule information from coroner courts across England and Wales. It is not affiliated with HM Courts & Tribunals Service, the Ministry of Justice, or any local authority.

No guarantee of accuracy or completeness

This is not a comprehensive index of inquests. Data is collected automatically from official coroner court websites and may be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors. Even for areas we actively scrape, individual inquests may not appear on this site. Inquest schedules can also change at short notice. The local authority and coroner's court websites remain the definitive sources for hearing schedules.

All data is collected from publicly accessible official coroner court web pages. We link back to original sources wherever possible. Our automated collection respects rate limits and does not place undue load on council websites.
